Where were you born and raised? Buffalo
What dance subjects did you study? Jazz, Lyrical, Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Acro, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Modern
What have you performed? I was a member of the David DeMarie National Competition Team for 8 years. I performed various roles in The Nutcracker with Classical Ballet of WNY and Lockport City Ballet. I was an original member of Infinity Dance Project. As a dance major at the University at Buffalo, I performed in Dancer's Workshop, Emerging Choregrapher's Showcase, Zodiaque Dance Ensemble and Zodiaque Dance Company. I was also fortunate enough to perform at the Joffrey Ballet School and Steps on Broadway summer intensives in New York City.
What do you like to do in your free time? I enjoy going out to eat, reading, and sleeping.
What do you love about teaching dance? Growing up I always said I would never be a dance teacher but I am so glad I said yes when the opportunity was presented to me. It is a privilege to be able to work with kids and influence their lives in this way. I do not take that for granted. My favorite aspect of teaching dance is seeing all of their hard work come together on stage.
Who was your biggest influence growing up? My dance teachers... Every single one.
Secret talent? Tap! I was trained in tap longer than any other subject.
