Where were you born and raised? Buffalo, New York
When did you start dancing and why? My mom signed me up when I was three.
What subjects did you study? I studied everything: tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, acro, contortion, ballet, pointe, hip hop.
What do you like to do in your free time? read poetry, discover new music
What are your goals for your dance students? I want my dancers to become more confident in themselves and recognize their uniqueness both as a dancer and person. They need to build life skills like humility, open-mindedness, and be able to multitask.
What are your achievements/awards? I performed on on the TV show, Americas Got Talent in 2014.
Who was your biggest influence growing up? Miss Stacey had a big influence on me wanting to become a teacher. She taught me the most growing up. She helped me break out of my shell as a dancer. In terms of hip hop, my two biggest influences are Michael Jackson and Tony Testa. The smooth and sleek style of MJ and the hard attacking but also lyrically creative style of Tony Testa helped me to shape my own choreography.
Favorite article of clothing? I love a good pair of sweatpants
Favorite snack food? Chips and salsa
